Our newest bags of Original and No BS Granola
are made with plastic #5, a fully recyclable
material. Be sure to keep an eye out for the
recycling icon!
Plastic #5 - Polypropylene (PP) is a thermo-
plastic polymer. It's strong, tough, has a high
resistance to heat and acts as a barrier to
moisture. Plastic #5 materials can be recycled
at many facilities all around King County, as well
as your local Whole Foods. To find the recycling
centers closest to you, visit Earth911 or Plastic
Film Recycling.org.
